I also did a lot of personal research and practice which helped me improve my writing skills. My first times in college were so challenging and I encountered numerous challenges in writing my papers. I had a lot of difficulties in using the different academic writing styles that were often recommended for different topics and units of study. Additionally, my skills in the use of formal English, appropriate grammar, punctuation and proper sentence structure were not yet properly developed. Styles of approach and handling various study topics and writing also posed a challenge because most papers required a different style of writing in comparison to others.
